Nominations to be a candidate for election as a member of Northern Areas Council will be received between 17 and 31 January 2019. A briefing session for intending candidates will be held at 7 pm on 16 January 2019.

Mariners are advised that part of the sailing vessel “Wild Eyes” that was abandoned in the Indian Ocean in June 2010 is drifting off Kangaroo Island, approximately 11 nautical miles south of Vivonne Bay. The vessel is a hazard and the area should be navigated with extreme caution.

The Executive Director of SafeWork SA has appointed Darren Michael Bryans, John Norman Burdett, John Frederick Peake and Matthew Antony Pearce as authorised officers for the purposes of the Dangerous Substances Act 1979.
