The Renmark Paringa Council has prepared a Development Plan Amendment Report to review the minimum allotment size for land division within the Golf Course Country Living Policy Area. The proposals will be on public consultation from 24 January–22 March 2017.

Participants of the 3 Eyes Convention Inkjecta International Invitational have been exempt from Section 13 of the Tattooing Industry Control Act 2015, between 10–12 February 2017.

The Adelaide Plains Council has resolved to apply Clause 2.5 of By-law No. 2—Local Government Land 2012 to the land adjacent to the Mallala Oval. Effectively, camping is now permitted at this location, subject to a permit first being obtained.
