Publishing of Unclaimed Money

The Unclaimed Money Act 2021 commenced operation on 25 November 2023 and repealed the Unclaimed Moneys Act 1891.
This Act has removed the obligation for South Australian companies/businesses to publish unclaimed money held by them in the South Australian Government Gazette.

Companies now report holdings to Department of Treasury. All current unclaimed money is available to be searched on their website here:
