The Gazette Archive contains all official State Government periodicals, as of the first South Australian Gazette published on 20 June 1839.

South Australian Government Gazettes from 1999 to present are available via this website. Previous publications are stored externally on the AustLII website, courtesy of the State Library of South Australia and Piper Alderman law firm. 

To search by known gazettal date:

  1. Select a year in the Gazette Archive block, accessible from the right side of any page of this website.

  2. Download either the PDF or DOC file of the corresponding Index file at the top of the list (Indexes are compiled biannually).

  3. To locate content in either file, press Ctrl and F, then type a keyword or phrase into the pop-up navigation box and press Enter.
