Baird Bay Islands Conservation Park Prohibited Area—Notice by the Minister
Pursuant to the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972, I, Michael Williams, Director of National Parks and Wildlife, being satisfied that it is expedient for the purposes of conserving native animals, declare the Jones Islands portion of the Baird Bay Islands Conservation Park a prohibited area.
This declaration is made in order to restrict disturbance to the breeding cycle of the Australian Sea Lion. A person must not enter the prohibited area unless authorised to do so by a permit issued by the Minister.
