Approval for use of Chemical Substances
Pursuant to regulation 10(1)(b) of the Aquaculture Regulations 2016, I, Sean Sloan, Executive Director, Fisheries and Aquaculture as delegate of the Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, hereby approve the use of veterinary chemical products or substances by the holder of aquaculture licences for therapeutic or prophylactic purposes that are the subject of a current Minor Use Permit issued by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (Commonwealth APVMA), being a permit within the meaning of the Agricultural and Veterinary Products (Control of Use) Act 2002.
The use of veterinary chemical products or substances under this Ministerial approval must be consistent with the conditions on the relevant Minor Use Permit issued by APVMA.
This approval is valid until revoked.
