May is the month for exploring and appreciating our past in South Australia.

The History Festival will comprise over 600 events, promoting the State’s intriguing collections, venues, and stories through a range of activities. There are stimulating presentations on offer each day, such as film screenings, dances and concerts, tours and bush walks, open days, pop-up museums, and special displays.

The variety displayed is a testament to thousands of passionate volunteers who care for South Australia's rich past. Events will be hosted by over 340 organisations across the State in cultural centres, sporting clubs, libraries, galleries, schools and universities, churches, cemeteries, gardens, and pubs.

The History Festival in South Australia is one of the most significant community events in the nation and offers a fascinating chance to learn. For the full event program, visit South Australia's History Festival website.
