Temporary Closure of a Portion of Coorong National Park

PURSUANT to Regulations 7(3) (a) and 7(3) (d) of the National Parks and Wildlife (National Parks) Regulations 2016, I, John Erwin Schutz, Director of National Parks and Wildlife, temporarily close to the public a portion of Coorong National Park defined as:

  • All of CR 6024/502, Plan Parcel H410500S33
  • All of CR 5775/ 155, Plan Parcel H410500S31
  • All of CR 5747/636, Plan Parcel H410500S85
  • A 200m strip of CR 5775/155 Plan Parcel H410500S31 that adjoins the drain corridor for the extent of the drain corridor.

6am on Friday 16 March 2018 until 6pm on Friday 29 June 2018.

The purpose of the closure is to ensure the safety of the public during the upgrade of the Salt Creek spillway as part of the South East Flows Restoration Project during the period indicated.
