Lights of Lobethal has been dazzling the Adelaide Hills for more than 60 years. This wonderful Christmas tradition was created by the township and has evolved into the largest Community Christmas Light Display in the Southern Hemisphere.
Lobethal Valley lights up on Sunday, 10 December with a grand opening ceremony including carols and fireworks.
Crowds will gather over two weeks to enjoy spectacular light arrangements, two nightly showings of the Living Nativity re-enactment, local markets and street stalls.
The colourful Christmas pageant is held on Saturday, 23 December and offers a family-friendly festival atmosphere in an alcohol-free zone.
