DreamBIG is the celebration formerly known as Come Out Children’s Festival and is one of Australia’s greatest gatherings for young people.
This significant event is designed to excite, encourage, challenge, stimulate and motivate the children of South Australia. DreamBIG offers workshops and the opportunity to perform, which strengthens cognitive development, social interaction and the acquisition of life skills.
Proudly presented and managed by Adelaide Festival Centre, the program is divided into two creative streams—the school program for students, and the general public program for families. DreamBIG festival is based within the city, but also reaches children and their families in Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Whyalla, the Barossa, Roxby Downs, Renmark, Lameroo, Streaky Bay, Kersbrook and Victor Harbor.
The Big Family Weekend held along North Terrace from 20-21 May will open the festival with a plethora of free arts activities, exhibitions, stage shows and interactive trails for each age group. Don’t miss out on the fun!
